HomeForm
Tech
A home-friendly 3D printer that blends into interiors with customizable panels and removes the need for traditional CAD. It generates full-color prints from voice prompts, sketches, or scans, and recycles its support powder automatically for low-maintenance, sustainable printing.
HomeForm is a 3D printer designed to feel like a natural part of the home. Its warm, approachable form and customizable panels allow it to blend seamlessly into interior spaces, echoing furniture or kitchen appliances rather than industrial machines. Panels can be matched to wood finishes or color palettes to harmonize with a variety of home environments.
By replacing traditional CAD with a more intuitive system, HomeForm makes 3D printing accessible to non-experts. It uses an integrated 3D scanner and an automatic CAD generator that builds geometry from a range of inputs, including voice prompts, technical drawings, reference images, and 3D scans. The quality and accuracy of the print are influenced by the richness and diversity of these inputs, encouraging experimentation and creativity.
HomeForm prints using selective powder deposition with full-color capabilities. It builds in vertical columns rather than requiring the entire print bed to be filled, reducing material waste. A rotating bed and air-blower system automatically remove loose support powder, which is collected and reused, making the entire process cleaner, simpler, and more sustainable.
